Catering Business Website

OVERVIEW

Jessica Lagman is a young talented chef that shares her passion for food by providing culinary art and catering services. Jessica cooks food that mixes different types of cuisine and flavours: Korean, Japanese, Polynesian and Filipino. Jessica needed a website to promote her catering business and show pictures of her beautiful food arrangements.  


OBJECTIVES

INVOLVEMENT

As a Freelance Business Marketing Consultant and Graphic Designer, I was able to help Jessica start her website through Wix. We chose Wix, because Jessica wanted a simple and easy-to-learn/use website builder that requires little or no web design experience and to allow her full, upfront control. Also, I was able to provide her with valuable business advice and tips for a small, start-up business like hers.       


​RESULTS

Hooked’s website along with customer testimonials and word-of-mouth advertising is increasing Jessica’s catering service popularity. More and more event planners and coordinators are reaching out to her and hiring her as their caterer. She started small at family parties and continue to expand in more corporate and commercial pop-up settings.

PALMIERI

OVERVIEW

Palmieri is an established manufacturer and designer of innovative furniture for libraries, schools, corporations and other public spaces. They specialize in unique, modern tables, service desks, workstations, display units, carrels, modular soft seating, and mobile shelving. Palmieri wanted to improve their online presence, revamp their website, partner up with Wayfair and leverage 3rd party virtual resource library: MRL.


OBJECTIVES

·       Evaluate old website SEO metrics, performance, Google Analytics report

·       Improve and revamp website appearance

·       Establish online shopping portal and partnership with Wayfair

·       Assess Wayfair/Palmieri Sales Revenue and Forecast reports

·       Improve brand exposure in A/D sector

·       Join community of architects and interior designers through MRL


INVOLVEMENT

As Palmieri’s Marketing and Business Development Manager, I lead, developed and implemented strategic branding and marketing initiatives, that increase product sales, provide sales support to reps/dealers and grow revenue. The major digital marketing projects I was involved are:

  • Old Website performance evaluation through Google Analytics reports

  • Determine website pages and content that requires improvement, omission and replacement

  • 2021 Website design appearance and content revamp

  • Wayfair supplier partnership establishment, inventory setup, price, product info and media management

  • MRL: My Resource Library binder setup, product ads and product literature management


​RESULTS

Palmieri attracts newer clients with their latest revamped website. Their sales revenue has increased by 10% by selling through Wayfair’s online shopping site. Furthermore, they achieve more brand exposure and captured more architects and design firms’ attention through MRL’s virtual resource library, that consequently lead to large contract job specifications and result in more product sales.
